Tom Crotty- Co-founder and Board Chairman
Tom is a Senior Advisor at Battery Ventures, following a long career at Battery as Managing General Partner and General Partner.
In addition to serving on many corporate boards, his focus on philanthropy has him involved with numerous charitable causes spanning the globe. Among other ventures, Tom is currently the Chairman of Grassroot Soccer and a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Notre Dame.
Tom received a Business degree from Notre Dame in addition to an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
An experienced and innovative Human Resources professional, John McMahon is the Senior Vice President, HR and Chief Human Resources Officer at Cumberland Gulf Group of Companies in Framingham Massachusetts. He is responsible for development and implementation of the HR strategy for Cumberland Gulf.
Before joining Cumberland Gulf, John held senior executive positions at Arrow Electronics, Inc., UMass Memorial Health Care System, Fisher Scientific,Terra Lycos, S.A., ITT Corporation and Stride Rite.
John holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Upsala College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Mercy College.
Mary is an accomplished footwear executive with a remarkable series of successes at such companies as Puma, Reebok, Converse, Ryka, and Stride Rite. From product development to marketing, branding, and executive management, Mary has experience in all facets of the shoe industry and is a greatly respected resource to Row One.
Mary’s most current venture finds her entering the specialty foods market, as the proprietor of Salt and Olive, a new resource for all things food related, in Cambridge, Ma.
Ted Clark – Board Advisor
Ted Clark has been active in the venture capital and private equity businesses for over 20 years. He is President and Founder of Qualitas Associates, LLC, an advisory firm focused on venture capital and private equity management teams. Ted is active on the advisory boards of several US venture capital firms and serves on the Board of Trustees at Babson College as well as the board of Urban Improv, a non-profit using improvisation with children to reduce violence in Boston
Gary is the CEO and President of AMP Agency, which is a division of Advantage Solutions, a $2B+ privately held company in the retail and marketing space.
Gary received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications from Boston University and is an active investor and entrepreneur in the Boston community. In addition to Row One Brands, Gary is on the board of All Campus Media (higher education admission services) and A Sharper Home (Commercial and Residential automation installation and maintenance services) as well as on the board and a founder of Going Full Circle, which is a non-profit thrift store in the Raleigh, NC community that provides employment and job training for adults and young people with Autism. Additionally, Gary holds a position on National Safe Place's Board of Directors, and joined the board of Peace First, which is national non-profit that is focused on empowering young people as Peace Makers globally
